In years of living in Westchester, I never even thought that affordable and quality can go together until I tasted NoMa Social in New Rochelle, NY. Nestled inside The newly designed and award winning Radisson Hotel, NoMa Social is far from your ordinary restaurant. Beautifully decorated by someone with a clear eye for detail and decor and the food is even better than the decor....and that decor rocks!
We started out with the Butternut Squash Soup that had fresh cranberry and crushed Ginger snaps that definitely set it aside from any Butternut Squash soup I have tasted before. We moved on to the Crispy Baby Artichoke that was dipped in a basil Mayo then ordered the Potato Gnocchi that had incredible flavor, long braised painted hills beef cheeks, wild mushrooms, Coca Cola-Rioja Guazzetto and Fresh Ricotta. We thought we were going to stop there because we were full but decided on the Banana-Nutella Empanda to share which was out of this world.
While both of us were full after this indulgent, our bill was less than $50 before tax and tip. There are not many places in Westchester that you can go and enjoy top notch quality food, prepared by a CIA graduate, executive Chef and for less than $50.
Kuddos to NoMa Social in New Rochelle for really exceeding expectations. This place is a must try!
